This is a Blog about feeling God’s presence in the midst of our lives. Life is made up of moments, strung together. So many of these moments are sacred but we hardly even notice them. “A Touch of Grace” Blog is meant to call our attention to God being with us on this journey of life. For some people, life is just about moving from one experience to another without examination of the possible meaning and learning held in the experience, including difficult times of struggle and suffering. As Viktor Frankl once said, “Suffering without meaning is simply despair.” I believe that life’s meaning for us already exists, our challenge is to discover it.
About me: I am a 44 year old female. I have a Bachelor of Education degree as well as a Master of Educational Leadership degree and served as a teacher for ten years. I attended seminary at The General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church, where I earned a Master of Divinity degree. Currently, I am discerning a call to ordained ministry within the Episcopal Church. Relationships, being in community, solitude, recovery from addiction, and surviving advanced breast cancer…have been places of learning for me as well.

Thank you for creating this blog. I am gently reminded about the importance of “spiritual practice” in everyday life. More importantly, the importance of finding and paying attention to the small still voice within us. Blessings!
